"Christmas of Feelings" (Jausmų Kalėdos) is a unique holiday installation located in the Vilnelė Courtyard, designed to reveal the diversity of emotions that accompany us during Christmas. This project conveys different feelings and memories through carefully selected materials and tactile elements. Each box in the calendar represents a specific emotion, allowing visitors to experience the festive atmosphere through touch, exploration, and reflection. Every day, from December 1st to the 24th, a new box is opened, revealing a different emotion.

"Christmas of Feelings" invites us to pause and understand that holiday joy, or even melancholy, can be conveyed not only through visible images or sounds but also through the sensations revealed by touching different surfaces and textures. It is an embodied experience that deeply engages, reminding us that the magic of Christmas lies in the warmth of feelings, touch, and communication.

The installation is also adapted for people with visual impairments. Visitors can explore each box, touch various materials, discover their textures and sensations, and experience the holiday spirit through tactile experiences enriched with information in Braille. This project fosters community solidarity and inclusivity, creating a space where everyone can together experience the Christmas miracle, listen to themselves and others, and connect through sharing feelings.

The feeling boxes hold a wide palette of emotions – from the warmth and coziness conveyed by wool or fur to the surprise and joy evoked by sponge or zippers. Each material tells its own unique story, inviting people to discover Christmas through the diversity of sensations and personal experiences. This installation encourages us to understand that not everything is visible to the eye. It invites visitors to discover that feelings and experiences can be lived not only through sight but through other senses as well.
