LYON.TEXTILE RECYCLING

From October 21-25, I participated in the ‘Precious Textile - Alternative Textile Waste Recycling’ workshops organized by the European Creative Hubs Network and Le Textile Lab in France.

This four-day event brought together various visits to textile recycling companies in the Lyon area (ranging from social organizations implementing circular economy principles to industrial recycling facilities, and even fish skin recycling industries).

An important part of the workshops was also hands-on experimentation by the participants with laboratory machines, bio-plastic production, and the creation of new materials from textile waste.

This invaluable experience is something I’m eager to share with the UŽUPIO ART INCUBATOR community.
